EDGAR Next is the SEC's modernization initiative aimed at enhancing the EDGAR system by
improving security, usability, and filing processes. Current SEC Filers must transition to the new
system. This means many changes, including:
•
Obtaining individual account credentials through Login.gov.
•
Designating Account Administrators.
•
Formal delegation to service providers such as filing agents and law firms to submit filings.
•
More comprehensive EDGAR account management.
•
Annual login and confirmation requirements.
How we help
For a low fee, we take care of many of the details involved in transitioning and enrolling you into the new system. Additionally, we’re there to guide and walk you through steps that you must necessarily carry out yourself. Typically, our fee is $95 for individual filers, and $195 for entities. Located in New York, and in this business since the earliest days of SEC reporting (1993), we'll ensure that your transition into EDGAR Next is accomplished quickly and smoothly without hassles, glitches or delays.How it works:
Individual Filers
1. Set up your Login.gov account (click here) if you don't have one already. You'll need a reliable email address (which will be visible on the EDGAR Next dashboard) to serve as Login ID, and a mobile phone for two-factor authentication. 2. Make sure you have working current EDGAR Access Codes (specifically the passphrase, CIK and CCC). We can help you refresh, update or procure them if needed. 3. Send us your information using our secure web form (click here). We'll take it from there and transition you into the new system. 4. Once we've transitioned you, you'll receive an email from the SEC asking you to log in to the EDGAR Next Dashboard and confirm some choices. We'll walk you through those steps if needed.Other Filing Entities (Corporations, LLCs, Funds, Trusts, etc.)
1. Select two Account Administrators (a single-member entity needs only one). An Account Administrator must be a natural person closely associated with the entity, such as an employee or managing member, and may not be an external individual like an attorney or filing agent, except by notarized power of attorney. Account Administrators are held accountable for filings submitted by the entity, and serve as the entity's points of contact for the SEC. 2. Each Account Administrator must set up his/her Login.gov account (click here) if he/she doesn't have one already. He/she will need a reliable email address (which will be visible on the EDGAR Next dashboard) to serve as Login ID, and a mobile phone for two-factor authentication. 3.
